What happened to your memory while nobody was asking.

Design stage

Design stage, not shipped. A scheduled pass over tenant memory that would do only what the evidence already said — and hand you the receipt.

ran 03:14 · 1,204 memories examined · 41 changed · 9 left alone · receipt rfl_8c41f2

An illustration of the design: these values are display examples, not a real run and not a claim.

What Reflector may do (design intent)

  • Merge exact duplicates

Two memories with the same text under different ids would become one. The id that keeps the evidence would be the one more sessions have used.

  • Raise confidence on agreement

A memory that a new session uses without contradicting it would get slightly harder to dislodge. Ten quiet confirmations would move it less than one survived challenge.

  • Lower what is not being used

A memory nothing has touched in 90 days would stop being surfaced first. It would still be stored, still returned if asked for by id, and still true.

  • Retire on supersession

When a newer statement replaces an older one, the older would stop being served. It would be kept, and visible here.

  • Flag contradictionsmarks only

Two memories that disagree and neither locked. The design-stage Reflector would mark the pair and stop. It would not pick winners.

What Reflector may never do (design intent)

  • never deletes a memory
  • never unlocks a locked fact
  • never raises confidence past a human floor
  • Reflector is intended to never delete and never unlock. It can lower what gets surfaced. Only a human can lower what is true.

Dry run

changes nothing · reads only

Every pass would be dry-runnable. The receipt of a dry run and the receipt of a real pass would differ in one field.

Every agent proposes. Northsun governs.
